Time IS Limited!

Failing to act before the statute of limitations expires bars your claim. For injuries on or after July 1, 2024, you have two years to file suit; earlier injuries must be filed within one year. For medical malpractice, you generally must file within one year of the malpractice or discovery, with a three year outer limit. For oil & gas royalty disputes, you must sue within three years.

What Should I Do After A Car Wreck
Or Personal Injury?

  • Collect Witness Information: Get names, addresses and phone numbers of eyewitnesses.
  • Call the Police and Seek Medical Care.
  • Get the other driver’s name and address and the make and model of the car at fault.
  • Document the Scene: Photograph vehicles, skid marks and injuries right away. Also photograph your car’s damage before it is hauled away or repaired – as evidence of a hard blow that would cause injuries.
  • Contact a Car Wreck Lawyer: Early involvement helps us preserve evidence and prevent the insurer from taking statements that weaken your case.

How Much Money Will I Get?

We do not make unrealistic promises. Settlement value depends on liability, the extent of your injuries, available insurance coverage and jury perception. We thoroughly analyze your medical records, gather expert reports and negotiate with insurers. Permanent disability and obvious injuries typically result in higher compensation. We can’t estimate your recovery until we see the doctor’s medical reports describing your injuries.
